leave

we leave the laundry out<\/p>\n\n\n\n
for
the
rain
to
inhabit<\/p>\n\n\n\n
it is such a strange
and
weightless sight<\/p>\n\n\n\n
all those untethered reflections<\/p>\n\n\n\n
they steal us<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and portray us<\/p>\n\n\n\n
in liberties<\/p>\n\n\n\n
that we could never match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

if snails are the tongues
by which God tastes the earth<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I wonder if Lot
is a vengeant lover<\/p>\n\n\n\n

your breath
shipwrecked
upon my neck<\/p>\n\n\n\n
how impossible
the next moment
seems now<\/p>\n\n\n\n

trace your name
in goosebumps
down my shoulder
and my chest<\/p>\n\n\n\n
letting your fingertip linger
right there
at the origin
of all my involuntary apathy
of all that pressure<\/p>\n\n\n\n
saying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“this,
this is where I’ll stand guard,
this is where I’ll meet you again
